Solar Panel Cleaning

If solar panels are not regularly cleaned they may lose warranty after six months – have yours cleaned regularly to ensure your warranty remains valid. Your Solar panels can build up dirt from dust, salt spray, rain minerals, leaves, bird droppings, stains, pollen and ash fall. Dirty panels can reduce power they produce by 10%-30% in extreme cases. Experts recommend that panels are cleaned every 6-12 months , depending on the environment, to optimize power generation and maintain manufacturers’ warranties. Our solar cleaning process  uses a biodegradable, streak free, glass cleaner. We don’t use pressure washer to ensure no damage is done to the glass on the panels. Solar Panel Inspections

All inspections include the following:

• Thermographic imaging of all solar panels, MC4 connections and DC Isolators
• Irradiation measurements and ‘actual’ output readings of each array
• Correct operation and isolation of all DC switch-gear
• Anti-Islanding verification
• DC Currents and voltages on each string/array
• AC isolator and MCB operation checked and verified
• Photographic report including quotes for any actionable items

Price:

The Pricing works as follows:

1. For all systems up to 6.6kW (Or 24panels) the price is fixed at $345 Including GST
2. For systems OVER 6.6kW, the additional rate is $14 Including GST per panel for each additional panel
3. For multiple story dwellings where access is required onto the top roof, there is a surcharge of $50 + GST
